report from Dec 2 Santa Cruz New Tech Meetup

I attended the December 2nd Santa Cruz New Tech Meetup, along with around 40 others. Attened by mostly older techies which was a disappointment since I was on the look out to hire sharp young web developers. As advertised there as 1/2 hour of no-host bar socializing (no food for purchase so come with dinner in your belly), followed by three 25 minute long presentations each followed by short Q&A. Hey all, I just read in the Weekly that the Cannery Row IMAX theater will be hosting a big XBox gaming event Monday night. Registration's at 7:30pm, gaming goes from 8 to midnight. $20Think about it. Modern Warfare 2, or Gran Turismo... on an IMAX screen. :DSee More
